I'm so excited. I received a grant from Second City to make more videos! Yay!

My crazy life.

I'm at SC right now rehearsing for our staff Christmas Party show. A
lot of companies have funny little skits at their holiday parties done
by coworkers poking fun at their bosses, but here its a fully rehearsed
production with lights, sound effects, and musical numbers with a live
piano player. Its the one chance a year for the minimum wage folks at
the bottom of the ladder to be seen as performers by the actors and
producers. I'm not saying anyone gets discovered at these things, but
its nice to be thought of as an actor around here, if only for 5
minutes. And it feels cool to be performing on the mainstage, even if
its just in front of coworkers. We rehearsed 2am-5am last night. Its
10:30 right now and we are just getting started for tonight. We could
be here as late as 2am. I'm exhausted and I feel a little nauseous from
lack of sleep, but I love these people so much, so its ok.
