So I had a very strange, very vivid, dream.

I don't remember exactly how it started.
But I have images of being in an express elevator that only stopped once every 10 floors. I hate those.
I was alone and very nervous about this elevator. (this is understandable considering my previous dreams of surviving elevator crashes)

Then I was in Theatrespace, rehearsing something or helping out with a show. but we didn't know what the show was. the risers were set up all wierd so each level was slanted back. We (meaning the faceless theatre friends in the dream) decided that there was probably some choral group coming in. Well I made sure that show was going alright and then I went out to take a break. I went somewhere that resembled the loading dock but it was enclosed. Some friends of mine that I don't get to see very often were hanging around a golf cart. Apparently they were helping out backstage as runners. I heard them say, Megan's so cool, I wish we could work with Megan more often. I was flattered and said, too bad, but we can hang out after work. Then they asked if I wanted to go for a ride in the golf cart. We were driving around a parking garage kind of thing with lots of twists and turns and they guy who was driving was completely nuts - we were going a lot faster than your average golf cart - but with the same lack of safety of your average golf cart. I almost fell out, but one of my other friends caught me. Suddenly I remembered I had to catch my plane to Mexico. Luckily the airport was across the street. I got there 6 minutes before my flight was sceduled to take off. The lady at the check in counter told me I was insane and I'd never make it. I said something cliche like "It aint over" or "Never say never" and took off running with my 3 carry-ons. There was no security besides a guy watching the conveyer belt as people stood on it going through a tunnel of lights to their departure gates. I think the tunnel of lights was actually a new full body/luggage combo weapon detector. I was on the wrong conveyor belt and had to climb over some barriers and scale some walls but finally I was on the right one. I asked the people in front of me on the conveyor belt what gate they were going to. "D7" they answered. Good! That's my gate! But NO! Who else in their right mind would be going to catch my flight at the last minute? What time does your plane leave? "10:46" they answered. Hey, you're the rest of my Mexico group, aren't you? Yeah, we were waiting for you. Aww. How nice.
